High-Strength Aluminium Forgings for Robust Applications
Our aluminium forgings are designed for strength and durability, making them perfect for applications requiring high mechanical performance and reliability.
Our aluminium forgings deliver exceptional strength, precision, and quality for the most demanding applications.
At Conex Aluminium Components, we utilize advanced forging processes to create high-strength aluminium components that withstand extreme conditions. These forgings are ideal for use in industries like aerospace, automotive, and heavy machinery. With a focus on innovation and quality, our aluminium forgings offer superior mechanical properties, precision, and performance. We ensure that every component undergoes rigorous testing to meet stringent industry standards.
We manufacture closed-die (hot stamped) and open-die aluminium forgings, including electrical connectors and lugs, fittings, valve bodies, flanges, brackets, automotive suspension and brake parts, and custom components.
6061, 6082, 2014, 2024, 7075 and 5083 are commonly forged: 6061/6082 for general use, 2014/7075 for high strength and 5083 for marine service.
Forgings have a dense, porosity-free structure with grain flow following the part shape, giving higher strength, fatigue resistance and toughness than castings.
Aluminium is typically forged at about 400–500 °C with pre-heated dies, then solution treated and aged to T6.
Forging tolerances follow EN 586-3 or DIN 7526; machined features are held to tight CNC tolerances.
Yes. Heat-treatable alloys are solution treated and aged to T6 or T73 to reach specified mechanical properties.
6082-T6 forgings typically reach about 310 MPa tensile strength, while 7075-T6 forgings can exceed 500 MPa.
Yes. Functional features such as bores, threads and sealing faces are CNC machined after forging.
Shot blasting, anodizing, hard anodizing, tin plating and powder coating are available.
Dimensional checks, hardness and tensile tests, and ultrasonic or dye-penetrant inspection are carried out as required.
Closed-die forging is economical from a few hundred pieces upward; open-die forging suits low volumes and large parts.
Customer-paid dies remain the customer's property and are maintained by us.
Yes, including forging design, die making, trials and first-article approval.
Dies take 3–5 weeks; production follows in 4–6 weeks after sample approval.
