Frequently Asked Questions

CNC turning and milling, pressure and gravity die casting, sand casting, hot and cold forging, stamping and pressing, sheet-metal fabrication, extrusion machining, heat treatment coordination, anodizing, plating and assembly are managed from our Jamnagar facility, so one supplier can take a part from raw material to finished component.

Machining suits prototypes and low volumes with tight tolerances; casting suits complex shapes and internal cavities; forging gives the highest strength and fatigue resistance; stamping is most economical for flat or formed parts at volume. Our engineers compare routes on cost and performance for each enquiry.

Wrought grades 1050, 1350, 5052, 5083, 6060, 6061, 6063, 6082, 6101, 2011, 2014, 2024 and 7075, and casting alloys LM6, LM25/A356, LM24/A380 and ADC12, to BS, EN, ASTM, JIS or customer specifications.

Power transmission and distribution, electrical switchgear, automotive and EV, aerospace, oil and gas, marine, construction and solar, industrial machinery, mining, agriculture, textiles and consumer products.

Yes. Parts are produced to ISO, DIN, BS, EN, ASTM, ANSI, IEC and UL-referenced standards, or to customer drawings and utility specifications, under an ISO 9001:2015 quality management system.

Machined features are commonly held to ±0.01–0.05 mm and bores to H7; cast, forged and stamped features follow the relevant ISO 8062, EN 586-3 or sheet-metal tolerances, with critical features machined afterwards.

Clear, colour and hard anodizing, chromate or trivalent conversion coating, tin and nickel plating, powder coating, painting, polishing, brushing and bead blasting.

MOQ is 10 pieces for machined parts and for sampling. Tooling-based processes such as die casting, forging and stamping become most economical at higher annual volumes.

Yes. We can measure a sample, produce a 3D model and drawing for your approval, and then manufacture prototypes and production parts.

Yes. EN 10204 3.1 material certificates, dimensional inspection reports, first-article reports and finish certificates are available with shipments.

We regularly export to the USA, UK, Europe, Canada and Australia, shipping on FOB, CIF, DAP or DDP terms by sea or air.

Parts are cleaned, protected with VCI film where needed, packed in labelled cartons or trays and palletized for export, with part number, quantity, lot and PO reference on every carton.

Samples are usually ready within 2–3 weeks of drawing approval and production within 4–6 weeks; new casting, forging or press tooling adds about 3–6 weeks.

Send your drawing or sample, alloy, finish, quantity and delivery location to sales@conexaluminium.com or use the Request a Quote button below. We reply with a DFM review, price and lead time.
