Secure Aluminium Cable Cleats Double Trefoil for Reliable Cable Management
Conex’s Aluminium Cable Cleats Double Trefoil are designed for secure cable management, ensuring stability and durability in industrial and utility applications.
High-quality Aluminium Cable Cleats Double Trefoil by Conex, providing robust and reliable support for multi-core cables in demanding environments.
At Conex Aluminium Components, we manufacture **Aluminium Cable Cleats Double Trefoil** to meet the requirements of modern cable management systems. Crafted from premium aluminium, these cleats provide superior corrosion resistance, mechanical strength, and secure cable retention. Designed to support and protect cables in industrial, commercial, and utility installations, they ensure reliable performance in harsh conditions. Available in various sizes and configurations, Conex also offers customization options to meet specific project needs, delivering exceptional quality and efficiency for critical cable management applications.
Double trefoil cleats hold two groups of three single-core cables in a triangular (trefoil) formation. They restrain cables against the electromagnetic forces generated during short-circuit faults.
Aluminium is non-magnetic, so it does not create eddy-current heating around single-core AC cables. It is also light, corrosion resistant and strong enough to restrain fault forces.
Cable cleats are tested to IEC 61914, which covers mechanical strength, lateral and axial load retention and short-circuit withstand performance.
Short-circuit withstand depends on cable diameter, cleat spacing and design. Cleats are type tested at peak fault currents, often in the range of 50–150 kA, and the installation spacing must follow the tested configuration.
Cleats are produced for cable diameters from approximately 20 mm to 150 mm and above, with liners to accommodate small diameter variations.
Liners of LSF or polymer material protect the cable sheath, provide grip and accommodate diameter tolerances. They are important for axial load retention.
Cleats are fastened with stainless steel A2 or A4 bolts and nuts to ladder, tray or strut systems. Fixing hole size is typically M10 or M12.
Cleat spacing depends on fault current and cable size and is calculated using the IEC 61914 method or manufacturer data. Typical spacing ranges from 300 mm to 1,200 mm.
Yes. Aluminium cleats with stainless hardware resist corrosion in outdoor, coastal and industrial environments.
Yes. They are designed to mount directly onto cable ladder rungs or strut channels using the correct fixing hardware.
Cleats are made from extruded or cast aluminium alloys such as 6063-T6, 6082-T6 or LM6/LM25, selected for strength and corrosion resistance.
Tests include lateral and axial load, impact resistance and short-circuit testing under IEC 61914, plus dimensional and visual inspection.
Yes. We produce cleats for specific cable diameters, formations and mounting systems to customer drawings.
MOQ is 10 pieces. Samples are typically ready in 2–3 weeks and production in 4–6 weeks.
