With a focus on quality and innovation, we provide customized solutions to meet the sp
We mill electronic enclosures, heat sinks, brackets, manifolds, mounting and back plates, fixtures, jigs, housings, covers, flanges, rails and machine components from bar, plate and extrusion to your drawing, from single prototypes to series batches.
Parts are machined on 3-axis and 4-axis vertical machining centres with rotary indexing, allowing multiple faces to be machined in fewer setups. Complex parts can combine milling with turning, wire EDM and broaching in-house.
6061-T651 and 6082-T651 are the standard grades – stress-relieved, strong and easy to anodize. 5083-H111 is used for marine and welded structures, 7075-T651 for high strength, and cast tooling plate (5083 or MIC-6 type) for flat base plates and fixtures where dimensional stability is critical.
We use stress-relieved T651 plate, rough machine both sides before finishing, release clamping between operations and use vacuum or soft-jaw fixtures to avoid clamping distortion. Flatness of 0.05 mm over 300 mm is achievable on suitable designs and is verified on a surface plate.
End mills are round, so internal corners always have a radius. Specifying a radius of at least one-third of the pocket depth (and slightly larger than the cutter radius) lets us use rigid tools and faster feeds. Sharp internal corners require EDM and add cost.
Walls of about 1 mm are practical for small features and 1.5–2 mm is recommended for larger walls. Pocket depth up to about 4 times the cutter diameter machines efficiently; deeper pockets need long-reach tools and slower feeds, so we may suggest design changes to reduce cost.
Hole positions are typically held within ±0.02–0.05 mm, and bores for bearings or dowel pins are reamed or bored to H7. Threads are machined to ISO metric or UNC/UNF with the option of helical inserts.
Yes. We mill heat sinks from 6061 and 6063 with machined fins, flat mounting faces (for good thermal contact), tapped mounting holes and black or clear anodizing for improved emissivity and corrosion resistance.
Trivalent chromate conversion (MIL-DTL-5541 Type II) keeps the surface electrically conductive for grounding and EMI gaskets. Anodizing gives better appearance and wear resistance but is insulating, so contact areas are masked. Powder coating is available for colour-matched exterior enclosures.
Yes. Part numbers, logos, serial numbers and scales can be engraved during CNC milling or laser marked after anodizing for a sharp, permanent contrast mark.
Use standard stock thicknesses, generous internal radii, standard hole and thread sizes, avoid unnecessary tight tolerances and very deep narrow pockets, and apply tight surface finishes only where functionally required. We share DFM suggestions with every quotation.
We control anodizing parameters and alloy selection to keep colour consistent, and we recommend using the same alloy and temper for all parts in an assembly because different alloys dye differently. Colour approval samples can be supplied before production.
Yes. Standard or custom extrusion profiles in 6060/6063/6082 are cut to length and CNC-milled for rails, frames, heat sinks and enclosures, which significantly reduces material waste and machining time compared with solid plate.
Prototypes are usually shipped within 1–3 weeks after drawing approval and production batches within 4–6 weeks, depending on complexity, quantity and finish. Repeat orders are faster because programs and fixtures are already proven.
A 3D model (STEP preferred), a 2D drawing with tolerances and finishes, the alloy grade and temper, quantity per batch and annual volume. If you only have a sketch or sample, our engineers can help produce the drawing.
