Compare overhead line connector types

• Parallel groove clamps use bolted grooves to grip the specified conductors. Provide both conductor diameters and constructions for fit review.
• Wedge tap connectors require a defined main and tap combination and a compatible installation tool or method.
• Hotline clamps suit applications that specify a hot-line clamp design. Provide the eye and hardware details, conductor range and utility specification.

What to send with your connector RFQ

Provide conductor designation, material, stranding and outside diameter for each conductor. Include a drawing or approved reference, quantities, installation clearances and any electrical, mechanical or environmental requirements. For mixed-metal connections, identify both materials and the required interface design.
