Reliable Aluminium DC Clips Tape Lips for Secure Cable Management

Conex’s Aluminium DC Clips Tape Lips are engineered for secure and durable cable management, ensuring efficient electrical performance in industrial systems.

High-quality Aluminium DC Clips Tape Lips by Conex, providing dependable support and efficient cable management in diverse electrical applications.

At Conex Aluminium Components, we manufacture **Aluminium DC Clips Tape Lips** to ensure efficient and reliable cable management in electrical systems. Made from premium aluminium, these clips and tape lips offer superior corrosion resistance, lightweight properties, and mechanical strength. Designed for industrial, utility, and commercial applications, they provide secure support for cables and facilitate organized cable routing. Available in various sizes and configurations, Conex also offers customization options to meet specific project requirements, delivering superior quality and performance for cable management needs.

Standard clips fit 25 × 3 mm and 20 × 3 mm aluminium tape, which are the most common sizes in BS EN 62305 systems. Clips for 20 × 4 mm, 30 × 3 mm and 40 × 3 mm tape are made to order.

Clips are pressed from 5052 or 5754 sheet. These marine-grade alloys bend without cracking, hold their shape and resist atmospheric corrosion without coating.

Each clip is fixed with a single stainless steel A2 or A4 screw and wall plug into masonry, or a stainless self-drilling screw into metal cladding. Plain steel screws should be avoided because they rust and stain the facade.

Clips are normally fitted about every 1 m on horizontal and vertical runs, and closer in high-wind locations, at bends and near air terminals, following BS EN 62305-3 guidance.

Conductor fasteners are covered by IEC/EN 62561-4, which specifies mechanical holding strength, UV and corrosion resistance for lightning protection fixings.

Yes. The clip retains the tape without clamping it rigidly, so the conductor can move lengthwise with temperature changes without buckling or pulling fixings out of the wall.

No. DC clips are shaped for flat tape. Round conductors of 8–10 mm diameter use separate round-conductor holders or saddles.

Aluminium clips should be used with aluminium tape. For copper tape, use copper or tin-plated clips to avoid galvanic corrosion between the two metals.

Yes. Clips can be powder coated in RAL colours to blend with facades, and matching coated tape can be supplied so the lightning conductor is almost invisible.

Clips are tested for pull-off and conductor-holding strength and for corrosion resistance after salt-mist conditioning, in line with IEC 62561-4.

Yes. Stainless steel screws and nylon plugs can be packed with the clips so installers have complete fixing sets on site.

Yes. Custom widths, heights, hole positions and markings are produced to drawing, from an MOQ of 10 pieces.

MOQ is 10 pieces. Samples are typically ready within 2–3 weeks and production within 4–6 weeks, depending on quantity and finish.

Please provide tape size, surface type (masonry, metal, roof), finish, whether fixings are required and quantity.
