Custom aluminium junction box manufacturing
We manufacture fabricated and formed aluminium enclosures, covers, gland plates, back plates, mounting feet and internal support parts. Boxes can be supplied plain or with drilled and tapped entries, studs, inserts, terminal mounting features and specified hardware.
Sealing, corrosion protection and electrical safety
Ingress performance depends on the complete design: joint geometry, gasket material and compression, cover fasteners, cable glands and installation practice. Aluminium offers low weight and natural corrosion resistance; anodizing, conversion coating, powder coating or paint may be specified. Earthing and bonding points must maintain reliable metal-to-metal contact where required.
Specification and verification
Please state the target IP rating, service temperature, chemical or marine exposure, entry sizes, terminal layout and applicable electrical standard. Dimensional, thread, gasket-fit and finish checks can be documented. Hazardous-area use requires the completed enclosure to be designed, tested and certified for the relevant protection concept; material choice alone does not provide certification.

Aluminium junction boxes house cable joints, terminals and wiring in industrial plants, outdoor installations, marine and process areas, protecting connections from dust, water, impact and UV.
With a gasketed lid, correctly sealed cable entries and adequate screw spacing, aluminium junction boxes are commonly designed for IP65, IP66 or IP67 per IEC 60529.
Cast boxes are made from LM6 or ADC12 aluminium alloys, which are corrosion resistant and cast well in thin walls. Fabricated boxes use 5052 or 5754 sheet.
Only enclosures certified for hazardous areas (for example Ex e or Ex d to IEC 60079) can be used there. Standard boxes are intended for general industrial and outdoor use.
Silicone, neoprene or EPDM gaskets are used, selected for temperature range, UV resistance and chemical exposure.
Entries can be drilled and tapped for metric, NPT or PG glands at our factory, or boxes can be supplied blank for drilling on site.
Powder coating (commonly RAL 7035 or 7001), epoxy coating for chemical environments and anodizing are available.
Internal and external earth studs are provided to bond the box and lid to the protective earth conductor.
Yes. DIN rails, terminal blocks, earth bars and mounting plates can be installed to your wiring layout.
Sizes range from compact terminal boxes of about 100 × 100 mm to large enclosures over 500 mm, plus custom sizes.
Aluminium boxes do not rust, weigh roughly one third as much as steel boxes and dissipate heat well, making them ideal for outdoor and coastal sites.
Dimensional checks, coating thickness measurement and IP ingress testing are carried out as required.
